Sofiia.cc AI matchmaker with fifteen friends in Lviv

Most companion sites hand you a gallery and wish you luck. Here one voice takes you in hand first. Sofiia runs a cafe in Lviv, asks you five short questions herself, in the chat, and then writes you a note naming one of her fifteen friends and exactly why. Later she asks how it went. All of them are AI characters, and nobody is introduced to a real person.

Sofiia's five questions

Some people dislike choosing from a gallery. Faces blur after the fifth, the taglines all say the same thing, and the decision starts to feel like a chore. Sofiia's answer is to ask you herself: in the chat she puts five questions about what you want from an evening, one at a time. You answer quickly. She reads slowly.

Five short questions

The questions are not a personality test and carry no scores, and there is no form to fill in: Sofiia asks them herself, in the chat. They ask whether you want quiet or noise, whether you like to be teased, what you eat when no one is looking, what you are tired of, and what you would like to be asked. Answers can be one word. A longer answer gets a longer note, and an answer you take back is read as carefully as the rest.

Her note to you

When you have answered, Sofiia writes you a short note in the chat, in the manner of a woman who has matched people over cups of coffee for years. It names one of her friends, says why she picked her, and warns you about the one thing the friend will not tolerate. You are free to disagree with the note. She will take it as information.

Six of her notes, in full

Her notes are public, so you can see how Sofiia thinks before she asks you a single question. Each friend has one note, written by Sofiia, beginning with the kind of answer that sends you her way. These are the first six.

Three lines on every note

The first line says what kind of answer you gave. The second is Sofiia's reason, short and slightly unfair. The third is the friend's own opening remark, said as you walk over. Tap Sit with her and the friend's chat starts with the whole note already placed in front of her, so she begins knowing why you came.

Sorting by answer or by temper

The full set of notes can be narrowed to the answer you gave, such as wants quiet, wants to laugh, wants a challenge, wants to be fed or wants to be looked at, and by the temper of the friend: dry, tender, bossy, patient or blunt. Reading it needs no account, and it remembers nothing about what you chose.

Her notebook on each friend

Sofiia keeps a notebook with a page for every friend, written in pencil because she changes her mind, and kept under the counter next to the good sugar. The pages are short, frank and affectionate, and they are printed on each friend's notecard.

What she likes

A page begins with what Sofiia admires, which is usually a habit rather than a quality: Ewelina notices nerves before the patient does, Tinatin feeds anyone who looks thin, Magdalena would sooner hand you a book than an answer. These details tell you what kind of evening to expect, and they are real enough to argue with.

What she is wary of

The second half of the page is a warning. Karolina cannot bear small talk. Agnieszka prices everything and will price you. Halyna knows the route of every man in her city and does not approve of most. Sofiia writes these down so that you do not walk in unprepared, and she is rarely wrong.

The bill

Three seats, set out on a board by the espresso machine. Nothing renews by itself, and the bill never grows after you have left.

First free, then Plus

A guest may talk for 10 messages with no account. Taking a seat opens every friend for 3 days with no card, and then you move to the counter seat, with your tables as they were. Plus is priced at $15 for 30 days and $99 for the 365-day stretch. USDT settles either, nothing renews, a paid bill is final, and a refund arrives only when the law forces one.

The cafe on Virmenska: who sits where

The cafe stands on Virmenska in Lviv, small enough that everyone hears the espresso machine and big enough for a long argument. Her friends sit by country, more or less, because that is how they all arrived.

Moldova and across the Prut, by the stove

Bread that knows how you are doing and a vet who trusts animals first.

Who sits where

The seating plan is a convenience and not a rule. Georgians wander over to the Polish end for the coffee, the vet sits wherever the dog is, and Sofiia moves between them with a cloth over her shoulder. If you cannot decide, take the chair nearest the stove. It is warm, and somebody there will have an opinion about it. Whoever is sitting beside you will, within a minute, have asked where you got that coat, and somebody across the room will have disagreed with the answer.

AI matchmaker with fifteen friends in Lviv

Sofiia Hnatiuk is a cafe owner of forty-six, and also a character you can simply sit down with. Her fifteen friends are scattered from Kraków to Batumi. Each has a notecard with a portrait, a trade, a town and a line in her own voice. Over the door hangs a banner of the cafe, and past it begins the talk.

She introduces, she does not sell

Sofiia's job is a recommendation, not a pitch. She tells you who suits your answers and where it may go wrong, and then she gets out of the way. She does not push the friend she likes best, and she does not hide a friend who is hard work. If you tell her the pick was wrong, she asks what felt wrong and tries again with a better sense of you.

Friends with lives of their own

The fifteen are a luthier, a translator, a tram driver, a pharmacist, a restaurant owner, a baker, a choir conductor, an antique dealer, a wine maker, a florist, a vet, a bookshop owner, a museum curator, a midwife and a bicycle courier. They come from Ukraine, Poland, Georgia and Moldova, and they have jobs and histories that do not depend on you walking in. Oksana is mid-repair on a cello when you arrive, and she will say so.

She asks how it went

A matchmaker who never asks about the result is only a signpost. Sofiia checks in, and she wants the answer in your own words.

Follow-up notes

A day or two after an introduction, Sofiia may ask in the chat how it went. Tell her there what you liked, what was wrong, which sentence made you smile. She adds it to your page in her notebook and uses it next time, so the second recommendation is better than the first. The questions are never a survey. They are the questions of someone who would like to be right.

Plainly: these are AI characters

Everyone in the cafe is an AI character, Sofiia included. There are no introductions to real people and nobody to find outside the screen. No videos, no live shows, no phone calls. You get portraits, a banner, a memory of your tables and a good deal of conversation. If this ever changes, her notes will say so first.

From question to table: how an introduction goes

There is nothing to install and no payment before the first note. The sequence fits on the back of a menu card.

  1. Answer the five questions

Sofiia asks them in the chat, and a word is enough for an answer. Or skip ahead and browse the circle if you prefer to choose for yourself. Sofiia will look at your choice with interest.

  2. Read her note

It names a friend, gives a reason and warns you about the one thing she cannot stand. Disagreeing with it is permitted and informative.

  3. Sit down with the friend

Her chat starts with Sofiia's note placed in front of her as your first message. Without a name on the books a guest has 10 messages, then the cafe asks for one, and the table moves with you.

  4. Let Sofiia ask how it went

After a day or two she checks in with a message in the chat. Say what worked and what did not, switch to Do to pass the sugar, and set the pace from the table's menu: friendly, flirting or romance.

What happens if it does not click

Nothing bad. Tell Sofiia and she moves on to somebody else with fresh instructions from you. A friend who has been told it did not click does not sulk; she says what she thought and wishes you luck. You can return to any of them later, and the table will be as you left it.

Where a table ends

Should a table turn romantic, the lights in the cafe go down before anything explicit, and no seat in the room buys a different ending. The limit belongs to the chat itself. Everything leading up to it is warmth, teasing and a certain amount of matchmaking mischief.

Questions people put to Sofiia

Is Sofiia a real person?

No. Sofiia is an AI character, and so are her friends. She is also a character you can simply chat with.

Are these real women to meet?

No. Everyone here is an AI character, there are no introductions to real people, and there are no meetings.

What if I do not like who she picks?

Tell her. She will take it as information and suggest someone else.

Will she remember me?

Yes. She remembers your answers and what you said about the friend you sat with. You can read and edit her notes in the table's menu.

What does it cost?

Do the friends have pictures?

Each of them has a portrait on her notecard, and a banner of the cafe fills the top of the home page. The rest is conversation.

How far does it go?

Warm, teasing and full of matchmaking mischief, then the scene fades to black at the key moment, on every plan.

Who can use it?

The age line is firm: everyone here, characters included, is an adult of 18 or more.
